what is plus pack about?

I'm looking to buy Addict-Spell and see a reference to the PlusPack on
the purchase page of the web site, but nowhere can I find any more
information than the terse 3-bullet point list:
 * spelling dictionary compiler
 * thesaurus file compiler
 * custom dictionary import/export utility.

I'd really like to know what these are all about.  (Why isn't there any
information on the web site about them?)  Does the compiler speed up
spell check capabilities?  Is the import/export utililty for sharing
custom dictionaries with other people?

The PlusPack is not required by all developers, that is why it is a separate
product - and we also do get customers of our customers buying it sometimes.


It contains a standalone Dictionary Compiler (not for distribution) that
allows you to create your own Main Dictionaries or improve on existing Main
Dictionaries where they allow decompiling (which is most). So basically you
can take a word list and make a main dictionary.

It also has a Thesaurus Compiler which is also standalone (not for
distribution) that allows you to build your own Thesauruses from a text file
- this is a far more involved process and whilst we use it, I'm not sure
that too many customers build their own Thesauruses.

The Custom Dictionary Utility comes with full Delphi Source - and can be
modified and distributed - and is a good demo if you want to know more about
managing custom (as opposed to Main) Dictionaries.
